Private Groups (Controlled Access)
Private groups are managed by your organization. Contacts are added through data syncs or manual uploads and remain only in the groups they’re assigned to.
This is ideal when privacy and accuracy matter—such as for staff, registered participants, volunteers, or classroom families.

Public Groups (Self-Managed)
Public groups allow contacts to opt in or out based on their interests. Users can easily join or leave groups through web forms or the ReachWell app—keeping their preferences up to date without admin effort.
